Exitous Shines on Techstars Graduation / Demo Day

2025 cohort of Techstars Workforce Development Accelerator pose on Demo Day in Denver, CO.

On June 5, 2025, the Exitous founders, Keita Wangari and Stacy Soberalski, showed up and showed out at The Cable Center in Denver, CO, pitching the bold idea of empowering workers as they exit a company. It was their big graduation and Demo Day, the culmination of 3 months in the 2025 Techstars Workforce Development accelerator.

Their Techstars experience provided the support, mentorship, and resources they needed to scale Exitous’ vision and impact. But it also ignited what they believe will be lifelong friendships with mentors and fellow cohort members, who all helped each other overcome obstacles and shine on the Demo Day stage on what turned out to be a very rainy day.

Keita, overcoming her Demo Day nervousness, had this to say:

“While I've easily presented to big crowds on research topics, this CEO pitch felt different. Turns out, I just needed my support system and some beats (Run-DMC) that summoned the grit of my community to say what needed to be said. What we’re doing makes sense for the mental health of the U.S. workforce and the financial strength and wellbeing of communities — and also makes incredibly good business sense for companies.”

Special thanks to the Techstars Program Team: Dave Cass (Managing Director), Sasha Green (Program Manager), Alison Griffin (Entrepreneur-in-Residence), and Shannon Plumb (Program Operations Associate).
